Bloody Basin Agate originates from central Arizona near Bloody Basin. The area gets its name from an event that occurred in 1873, where over 25 Indians were killed by U.S. Army soldiers.
The fine agates themselves are rare. They offer up some spectacular jasper and agate material with plumes and crystals.
