This bluish green jasper is known by various names; Gary Green Jasper, Larsonite, Green Petrified Bogwood and Freedom Jasper. This soon to be rare material was once easily mined on the Oregon/Nevada border near the town of McDermitt. The area is currently under evaluation to be converted into a Lithium mine. Once that happens, access to this material will completely disappear.
