Table Mesa Road is located just North of Phoenix. It is nine miles long and is set aside for off-roading and target practice. Approximately seven miles down where the fabled Table Mesa Jasper is located now sits behind a chained cyclone fence with an active claim.
This source material exhibits the appearance of petrified wood, but it is not. It’s a yellow ocher and maroon jasper with layer patterns that resemble wood grain.
