Due to the vibrant red, orange, yellow, purple and even strikingly white, Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood is often referred to "rainbow wood" or "pet wood".

A professionally cut slab of Arizona Petrified Wood. This particular piece has bright yellows, mixed with brick-red,

white and black jasper alternating with the shades of grey. The specimen is not polished.

The slab is ideal for lapidary work such as specimen polishing or further cutting for semi-precious cabochon making.
